Aeros Complete Sweep, Blank Portland 4-0
Akron capped off a highly successful road trip with their ninth shutout of the season, blanking the Sea Dogs 4-0 and allowing just two hits in front of 6,518 fans at Hadlock Field Sunday afternoon. The Aeros improved to a season-high 24 games over .500 at 46-22 and won six out of seven games on the road trip, while Portland slipped to 32-36. The Aeros outscored Portland and New Hampshire by an aggregate of 29-11 on the trip, and held the Sea Dogs to just one run in 25 innings in their third three-game sweep of the season.
Jared Goedert continued his hot hitting in the early going, driving in Akron
