K-Tribe Sweeps Doubleheader, Wins A Season High Five Games in a Row
The K-Tribe swept a doubleheader from Frederick, bringing their win streak to a season high five games in a row. Kinston won game one 5-0 and took game two 3-2.
A complete game shutout victory by Steven Wright propelled the Kinston Indians to a 5-0 victory in game one at Historic Grainger Stadium. Wright pitched all seven innings of the opener striking out seven, allowing two hits and four base runners. It was the K-Tribe pitching staff
