Game Recaps 4/26: Hagadone continues electric start

The Akron Aeros got an RBI single from Juan Diaz in the bottom of the fifth inning and won game two of the doubleheader against the Bowie Baysox 1-0 Tuesday at Canal Park.

Left-handed pitcher Nick Hagadone came in from the bullpen and got the win for the Aeros pitching three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, striking out four and walking none.

Right-handed pitcher Wynn Pelzer got the loss for Bowie pitching five innings, giving up one earned run on six hits, walking one and striking out four.

The Aeros (9-10) began the bottom of the fifth inning with a Juan Apodaca walk. Karexon Sanchez sacrificed him to second. Tim Fedroff followed with a single off the glove of shortstop Pedro Florimon advancing Apodaca to third. Later in the frame, Diaz singled to right field for the game
