Everyone knows that OF Matt LaPorta, INF Luis Valbuena, and INF Josh Barfield were all called up today to Cleveland. To fill their open roster spots, OF Trevor Crowe was optioned out from Cleveland, INF Andy Cannizaro was activated off the Mahoning Valley roster, and OF George Lombard was activated off the disabled list.
Also, OF/1B Stephen Head was reportedly hurt in last night's game. No word on the severity of the injury, but I will try and verify.
