Coaches Corner '12: Dave Wallace
A little bit of a changeup today and something I am going to try to do monthly here at the IPI. I recently had a chance to sit down with Low-A Lake County manager Dave Wallace and we talked about several things pertaining to his team and felt it would work well in a Q&A format.
Wallace and I discussed some of his players and how several of them are adjusting to their first full season, and also touched on some of the development opportunities for the hitters and pitchers that he and his staff have tried to instill in the players. With his team being so young where he has four of the top ten youngest players in the league and the average age of the team is the youngest in the league, the team is very inexperienced and learning to play baseball at the professional level.
