AZL Indians split suspended doubleheader
As the final box score suggests, the offense was raking yet again. Every player on the team outside of Nelson Rodriguez had a base hit, and five players had a multi-hit game. The hottest of those bats was DH Manuel Boscan, who looks incredibly polished for just a 19-year old.
According to a scout, he’s “got to have the best eye at the plate in this league.”
Boscan went 3-3, though it should have been a 4-4 night as the home plate umpire missed a would-be RBI double down the line that eventually turned into a walk for the DH. Boscan refused to chase bad pitches, and really knows the strike zone well for a young hitter. He doesn’t project to be a big time power hitter, but...
