Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of the daily performances by Indians prospects. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in offseason winter ball leagues.  The positions listed below are where the player was playing in the game.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Carlos Moncrief (Gigantes de Carolina, RF): 1-for-5, K. A pretty empty box score for Moncrief who has really struggled in winter league action so far. His regular season K/BB was 98/55, but during the winter league it is 27/3. Obviously, it has been a long year and this could be fatigue, but he has had a rough go down south.

Brett Brach (Gigantes de Carolina, RP): IP, BB.  Zero’s are what you want but Brach has not been particularly impressive with only six strikeouts in 17.2 innings and a 5.09 ERA.

I think Brach's stats should read 1 IP, 1 BB.
