Luis Valbuena - 2B, Cardenales de Lara: 2-for-4, R, HR, 4 RBI, 2 BB. What a set of games for Valbuena. His team participated in a double-header and he combined to reach in four of his six plate appearances. His grand slam homer in game two sealed the deal.
Asdrubal Cabrera - SS, Leones del Caracas: 0-for-5, K. Cabrera's modest 6-game hitting streak comes to a close after his 0-fer on the night. In 14 games he is hitting .268/.328/.321.
Juan Apodaca - C, Aguilas del Zulia: 0-for-2, 2 K. Just a couple of at bats for Apodaca who struckout in both official plate appearances. In 19 games this winter he has a .600 OPS.
