Probably the most interesting move of the day is RHP Zach Putnam being promoted from High-A Kinston to Double-A Akron. Putnam will pitch out of the bullpen.
This is a very interesting move, and one that was expected down the road. But given the Indians issues with the bullpen, and Putnam's advanced, polished approach as a pitcher to go along with his plus stuff, Putnam is now on the bullpen radar in Cleveland. Wow.
