Just a quick note to update people on a few things.
First off, thank you to everyone that has subscribed to the new premium area of the site. There have been a few bugs to work through with some subscriptions not auto-activating, so some of you may have had some issues initially logging into the premium area of the site. Those issues have since been resolved. I apologize for the inconvenience any of you may have been caused and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the issue.
Some have asked what the actual subscription information entails since it is not (yet) showing on the site except after you create an account. I am in the process of putting together the information which will be included for other new subscribers when they sign up, but here is the information on what the difference is between being a subscriber and non-subscriber:
You have the option of creating a free account that gives regular access to to non-premium articles on the site, or you can choose to subscribe to the premium service for $4.99 for one month or $29.95 for a year (50% less than going monthly) to view everything on the site.
- Premium subscribers will have exclusive access to all current and past scouting reports as well as Minor Happenings reports, post-Draft articles, minor league spring training game information, Instructional League game information, comments from scouts, coaches and front office personnel inside and outside the organization, and other items like this.
- Non-premium subscribers that have a free account or are not registered will be unabe to view the premium articles/features above; however, will still be able to view all the regular general articles, most player articles, regular season game recaps, daily Around the Farm updates, and other items like this.
Also, I have been getting a ton of questions about the new 2012 Indians Prospect Insider book. I will have a regular update on the book on Monday, but the book is written and I am in the process of formatting and putting the actual book together to send it off to press. My hope is to send it off sometime next week. I will have more details next week on pricing, availability, and so forth. The Cleveland Indians just sent me their order for several copies to go into the Goodyear Team Shop, so I am no doubt on the clock!
Last, yes, the plan is to bring back our Smoke Signals on-line radio show. That will probably kick back up in early March.
Thanks again for the support and for reading.

Sorry I was unclear. I am not asking about merging the costs. I will be sending you a check for the subscription. Can I also pay for 2 book copies so I only send 1 check??? If so, what will the book prices be?
Bric, the payments for subscriptions are handled via PayPal....we do not process them. PayPal is the leading online payment company and one of the most secure ways to pay online. If you would like specific instructions for sending in a payment by US Mail, please email me at tlastoria@indiansprospectinsider.com. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will continue to visit the site. Lots of stuff coming!
Maybe I'll check in again, some day, but I want clear instructions on how to pay with money order.
I don't need Pay Pal, and use credit card only on secure, professionally administered sites.
I'd pay by mail (only).
Any chance that when pay our premium subscription we can also pre-order & pay for the 2012 book???
