The Indians have activated first baseman Beau Mills and assigned him to Double-A Akron. He takes the spot vacated on the roster when outfielder John Drennen was suspeneded yesterday. Mills had been in extended spring training recovering from an achilles injury to his left foot in spring training.

Double-A Akron outfielder John Drennen has been suspended 50 games by Minor League Baseball for violating their drug policy. He tested positive for a banned substance called Clomiphene, which is a fertility drug that can be used to boost testosterone as part of the steroids cycle. The suspension is in effect immediately.
