The AFL Update: Week 2
After two weeks of play, the Peoria Javelinas are 5-5 and in 2nd place in the AFL National Division after playing the 1st place Surprise Rafters to a 9-9 tie last night. That's right, just like in the all star game, the AFL has ties! If that doesn't tell you how unimportant the wins and losses are, I don't know what will.
Jason Kipnis-2B: Kipnis is hitting just .161, but does have 2 HR and...

AFL Spotlight: Adam Abraham
Photo Credit: Tony LastoriaCleveland Indians minor league third baseman Adam Abraham was a late addition to his Peoria Javelinas club in the Arizona Fall League (AFL). It was a move that came at the last minute, and one that even caught him off guard as he was already into his offseason and enjoying some down time.
"Yeah, [Farm Director] Ross [Atkins] called me early October and asked me if...

Here are the final stats from the 2010 Parallel League out in Arizona. Note, the final stats listing is not 100% complete due to the absence of about three to four games worth of stats, but this should still give an idea how players did regardless. The final Instructional League stats will be posted sometime next week. Also, these stats will be housed in the reference section on the right panel.
