The Carolina Mudcats gave up a two-run lead in the seventh inning and allowed four runs in the top of the tenth to lose to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 8-4, at Five County Stadium Saturday. This was Carolina’s seventh consecutive loss to the Pelicans and the second in a three-game series.
It could have been a better day for the Indians' organization. Two of the affiliates went into extra innings after leading in the ninth, but both teams ended up losing.
