SeaWolves sneak past RubberDucks in extras, 3-2
The Erie SeaWolves snapped a 2-2 tie in the top of the 10th inning by launching back-to-back doubles, bringing home the go-ahead run and giving them just enough to defeat the Akron RubberDucks, 3-2, on Friday night at Canal Park.

Aguilar, Clippers knock off Indians, 5-4
Jesus Aguilar clocked a two-run shot in the bottom of the seventh to send the Columbus Clippers (54-47) back into a first place tie with a 5-4 victory over the Indianapolis Indians (54-47) on Friday night at Huntington Park. The win marked the first time that the Clippers have defeated the Indians at Huntington Park this season (previously 0-5).

Mudcats fall to Hillcats in pitchers dual; 3-2
The Carolina Mudcats (17-12, 46-50) dropped another close one to the Lynchburg Hillcats (13-15, 47-51), losing 3-2 in Friday’s rubber match. A two-run fourth inning carried the Hillcats to the series win as Lynchburg overcame a two-RBI performance from Joe Sever in Carolina’s final game of the season at Calvin Falwell Field.

Castillo, Scrappers crush Tigers, 9-2
Best way to celebrate a victory? With fireworks of course! The Mahoning Valley Scrappers took on the Connecticut Tigers with a well-played game ending with a win and fireworks display to just add to the excitement in the stands.

Lake County Captains fall to Cedar Rapids Kernels, 4-3
The Lake County Captains scored all three of their runs in the final two innings, but it wasn't quite enough to pull out a win as the Cedar Rapids Kernels came out on top, 4-3. Cedar Rapids scored two in the first and added solo-run innings in the fourth and sixth on its way to the win. Dace Kime took his 11th loss of the year after giving up three runs in 4.2 innings of work.

Carolina Mudcats fall in close game against Lynchburg Hillcats
The Carolina Mudcats outhit the Lynchburg Hillcats, 8-7, but still ended up losing their Thursday game, 2-1. Carolina's James Roberts picked up a third of the team's hits while also recording one RBI. Benny Suarez took the loss for the Mudcats while Ben Heller was saddled with a blown save.

Akron RubberDucks hold on for close 5-3 win against Erie
The Akron RubberDucks gave up three runs between the seventh and eighth innings Thursday, but still managed to hang on for a 5-3 victory. Akron totaled 10 hits in the win, led by multi-hit games from its third, fourth and fifth batters. Anthony Gallas even added two RBIs to the winning effort, credited to starting pitcher Will Roberts.

Columbus Clippers stifled by Indianapolis Indians, 1-0
The Columbus Clippers were on their way to extra innings against the Indianapolis Indians –– or so it seemed. The Indians broke through in the top of the ninth inning on their way to a 1-0 victory against the Clippers. Columbus reliever Tyler Sturdevant took the loss despite giving up the single run in the game. Indians starter Brandon Cumpton finished 8 innings with no runs allowed.

T.J. House leads Mahoning Valley Scrappers to shutout win
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers outhit the Connecticut Tigers, 9-4, on their way to a 4-0 shutout victory Wednesday night. The Scrappers top three hitters each had multi-hit games, led by Greg Allen's 3 of 4 showing in the leadoff spot. T.J. House pitched a gem for Mahoning Valley, he went five innings and gave up just two hits and no walks while striking out four.
