Tribe Happenings: Masterson might be wise to sign now
Barring a last minute change of heart by both sides, the Indians and ace pitcher Justin Masterson appear to be heading to arbitration. Indians to unveil new Jim Thome statue
Sometimes things come natural. For Indians legend Jim Thome, the game of baseball was just that. The left-handed slugger had the natural ability to be a presence in the batter's box, and of course, knock 'em out of the park. Cleveland announced they will unveil the new Thome statue at Progressive Field on August 2. IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz caught up with Thome at TribeFest and shares his thoughts on the future ballpark fixture.
