Tribe defensive woes continue, Detroit routs Cleveland, 10-4
The word "error" is defined as the deviation from accuracy or correctness. For the Indians, nothing as proven more costly this season than a lack of consistent defense. Three more errors Sunday, and an ugly seven run fifth inning was more than enough for Detroit to close the book on a dismal weekend at Progressive Field. Slugging out 10 runs on 12 hits, the Tigers cruised to an easy 10-4 victory to sweep the three-game series. Join IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz as he recaps an dismal loss from the ballpark.

Now that both are healthy, Perez and Washington are raking, as they did Saturday. Join Arthur Kinney as he writes about Perez and his future, Washington and his potential rise, and much more as he takes you Around the Farm.

Cabrera, Tigers edge Cleveland, 5-4 in extras
Pick your poison. Deadlocked in a 4-4 tie in the tenth inning with a runner on second, Indians manager Terry Francona decided for Cody Allen to pitch to baseball's best hitter with first base open. Bad move? Some may certainly say so. But when Victor Martinez is hitting behind Miguel Cabrera, either slugger can bring just as much venom. That's exactly what led to the Tigers 5-4 victory over the Tribe Saturday night. Join IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz as he recaps the game from a sold out Progressive Field.
