2014 Key Players: Corey Kluber
The Indians starting pitching staff will be trying to fill two significant holes left by the defections of Scott Kazmir and Ubaldo Jimenez. While Danny Salazar fills one of those spots, and some combination of Carlos Carrasco and Josh Tomlin will try to fill the other, it’s Corey Kluber who will slot behind Justin Masterson and be tasked with helping him carry the rotation. It’s an amazing rise Kluber has undergone to get to this point, and the IBI's Michael Goodman talks about his key role for the team this season.

Swinging for the Fences: A secret weapon in the bullpen
The bullpen has been one of the more interesting topics of discussion this spring with several viable candidates coming into camp for only a few openings. 2014 IBI Positional Rankings: The Second Basemen
On Sunday we kicked off our positional rankings with a look at the first basemen in the Indians system, and today we continue on with the ranking of all of the second basemen. Carrasco and the long ball lead Indians past Reds, 8-3

2014 Goodyear Notebook: March 23rd
It is hard to believe that in less than a week players will be reporting to one of the Indians four full season affiliates. At this time next week players will have traded in the warm sun in Arizona for the cold of Ohio and (hopeful) warmth of Carolina. The next few days figures to be a wild and crazy time in minor league camp as rosters are finalized and players are released, and the IBI's Tony Lastoria provides some news and insights on some players who are injured, some more retirements, and some intriguing developments he has seen in camp the last few days.

Cleveland's 'unfinished business' includes signing Masterson
Indians players have been sporting t-shirts with the motto “Unfinished Business” -- a call to extending their run from last year to winning a World Series championship in 2014. However, they have some unfinished business to take care of off of the field if they plan to keep that window open beyond this season. That unfinished business is, of course, keeping Justin Masterson in Cleveland.
