Padres edge Indians 9-8 in Cactus League finale
All good things must come to an end. After a great spring, the Indians dropped their final Cactus League game Saturday to San Diego, 9-8. Tribe outfielder Matt Carson belted a pair of homers, but the offense could not overcome a shaky outing by Danny Salazar. The right-handed phenom went just four innings allowing five runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out five. IBI Indians beat reporter Jim Berdysz shares his thoughts and recaps the action.

See the first scouting report for Diaz and how the rest of the scouting reports for the Indians third base prospects as well as how they rank at the position.

Today includes players ranked #25 to #13, which means a lot of players projected to receive less playing time (see: relievers and bench players). Join Jim as he unveils part one of his opening day roster rankings.
