Wendle walks off Tribe against White Sox in fifth straight win
It was an afternoon of firsts in Goodyear on Tuesday. David Murphy got his first hit as an Indian, Josh Tomlin and John Axford gave up their first runs of the spring, Bryan Price made his first appearance in big league exhibition play (and got his first win) and Joe Wendle recorded his first RBI in big league camp, and a walk-off at that. Indians, Johnson edge Rangers, 6-5
Even a Super Bowl champ couldn't get in the way of another Tribe victory. Indians bats banged out six runs on 11 hits to edge Texas Monday afternoon, 6-5. The Rangers would cut the deficit to one run in the eighth inning, but it wasn't enough to overtake Elliot Johnson's perfect day at the plate. Lindor powers Tribe to 6-3 victory over Mariners
Top Indians prospect Francisco Lindor made his presence known to the big league club and its fans by on Sunday by driving in the go-ahead runs with a three-run blast in the seventh inning in a 6-3 win against the Mariners. Meanwhile, Nick Swisher made his 2014 Cactus League debut for the Tribe and Carlos Santana's first official play at third base wasn't all that spectacular. Indians shutout Reds 4-0 to win two straight
A two-run homer by Ryan Raburn was essentially all Cleveland would need Friday afternoon, as they blanked the Cincinnati Reds, 4-0. Collecting just four hits on offense, pitching was the name of the game in the rubber match against Cincy at Goodyear Ballpark. IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz recaps the action.

Asdrubal Cabrera: At the corner of BABIP and plate discipline
In 2013, Asdrubal Cabrera hit the ball extremely well. This is not a popular opinion; however, in 2013, Cabrera’s line drive rate of 23.4% was a well-above league average clip. Some have attributed Cabrera's plate discipline issues as a major factor that weighed down his BABIP last season, but the IBI's John Grimm explains that there is no evidence suggesting that plate discipline and BABIP are correlated.

What's New at Progressive Field in 2014?
The Indians held their annual "What's New" media event at Progressive Field on Wednesday where the team introduced new initiatives, bringing you cost savings with the notion to "buy early and save." IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz took part in the event and shares some of the new ticket options and additional promotional giveaways for the 2014 season.
