Swisher, Bourn added to Tribe Fest lineup
The Cleveland Indians announced on Tuesday that Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn have been added to the player lineup for this year’s Tribe Fest, presented by KeyBank, set for Progressive Field on January 25 and 26.

Breaking down Axford: What went wrong and can it be fixed?
Team president Mark Shapiro continually hinted that Cleveland would sign a reliever with closing experience and that prophecy came true Sunday night, as the team agreed to sign former Milwaukee closer John Axford. The only reason Axford was available is due to his struggles in 2012 and 2013 following a dominant campaign in 2011. Axford deal is done pending physical, Marcum signed
The Indians and right-handed closer John Axford are set to sign a one year $4.5 million deal that will include an additional $1.75 million in incentives based on games finished. He is expected to undergo a physical on Wednesday after which the deal will be formally announced provided he passes it. The Indians have also signed right-handed pitcher Shaun Marcum to a minor league deal.

Indians sign David Adams, resign Carson and Cloyd
