Tribe Happenings: Offense may not be Indians biggest need
After a frustrating showing this season by the offense, the focus this offseason by a great many fans will be to upgrade the lineup to add more offense. But while the IBI's Tony Lastoria agrees that improving the lineup is important, he wonders just how important it really is when you compare the Indians to their peers offensively. To get Martinez, one of Bourn or Swisher would have to go
According to IBI newcomer Graydon Fox, the Cleveland Indians should make a bold move this offseason to help them win the American League Central Division. That bold move would be Victor Martinez, who is an MVP candidate for the Detroit Tigers and is set to hit the free agent market at the age of 36. How he fits on the roster financially and positionally would be tricky, but Graydon thinks trading one of Michael Bourn or Nick Swisher could be the key.

They teased. They winked. And they beckoned. But when the final chapter closed on the 162-game journey, the Indians fell just short of the postseason and a spot to play in October. So what's next? IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz says the front office should not sit on their hands this offseason like last winter, and instead go out and continue to add to the young and rising Indians.

Eight reasons 2014 was not a lost season for the Indians
The Indians missed the playoffs but all was not lost this past season for them as they had many key developments and breakout performances throughout their roster. IBI newcomer Graydon Fox chimes in with his eight reasons that this past season was not a total loss for the team and that it was actually a productive year that sets them up well for 2015.

The future looks bright because of the Indians starting rotation
The Indians are once again home for the postseason. After just missing the playoffs there is some disappointment in their step back from an exciting 2013 campaign that saw them reach the playoffs. But IBI newcomer Kevin Sledz says that one big area the Indians received a lot of answers this season was in the starting rotation and that it sets them up well to compete for years to come.
