The illusory long ball power of Jason Kipnis
Carrying a very solid walk rate and an excellent line-drive tendency, the Indians are counting on Kipnis to be a cornerstone for the Indians offense in 2014 and beyond. Swinging for the Fences: Santana at third and roster versatility
This offseason's Winter Ball campaign has been an interesting and exciting one for Tribe fans for two reasons: 1) Jesus Aguilar ('nuff said!) and 2) Carlos Santana has traded the catcher's mitt for a third baseman's glove, a decision that could prove to be beneficial not only for Santana as he searches for a new permanent position, but also for the team as their versatility would only improve with the shift. The IBI's Jake Dungan explains.

For Tribe, the Price IS Right
It’s been a long time since the Indians have had a legitimate, home grown major league star rise through its ranks, and they have that player in Francisco Lindor. Would they ever consider trading him? There was arguably no better Indians story in 2013 than the rise of Danny Salazar. The right-hander was electric at times, and he also gave the fan base new hope for the future? So, with that in mind, who has a chance to be 2014's version of Salazar? Perhaps it could be Cody Anderson, who was just dominant at High-A Carolina last season. Ironically enough, Anderson's seems to be trending in the exact same direction as Salazar. Join the IBI's Steve Orbanek as he opines in the latest edition of Orbiting Cleveland.
