Corner of Carnegie and Ontario: New Beginnings???
With two weeks full of thoughts after "the man" tried to hold our friendly neighborhood co-editor down, Jim Pete breaks out part two of this week's Corner of Carnegie and Ontario, as he takes a look at a potential new beginning for the Indians in 2012. Might the dam break this winter, with a series of trades and releases that change the face of the franchise forever? Are we ready for the Kipnis and Chisenhall era?

Tribe Happenings: “What happened?” Well…
The Indians have seen their season take a serious nosedive from quasi-contender in late-July to league doormat in late-August. The fall has been swift and hard, one that has not been seen in Cleveland in a long time, if ever. Tony chimes in with his thoughts on CEO Paul Dolan's comments this week and also discusses Matt LaPorta's final chance with the Indians, the future of Grady Sizemore and Josh Tomlin, and more.

Second Thoughts: Game #126 Indians 3, Yankees 1
The streak is finally over! The Indians would need just four hits against rival New York on Saturday night to snap their second nine game losing streak of the season, defeating the Yankees 3-1 picking up just their fifth victory in the month of August. Tribe starter Justin Masterson became the first Cleveland starter with double-digit victories in 2012, giving his team another quality and dominant start.

Corner of Carnegie and Ontario: The end of the beginning of the end?
The Indians say goodbye to another old friend this week, as it certainly looks like Grady Sizemore is gone for good...or is he? There may be more goodbyes before the 2013 season...and a potential hello as well. Join me on the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario, as we we continue to hate the Yankees, and hope for the best...

Second Thoughts: Game #125 Yankees 3, Indians 1
Nine in a row. 22 of their last 26. Times are tough for the Indians right now as they continued their month long tumble in the standings last night with a 3-1 loss to the hated Yankees. Jim Berdysz shares his second thoughts on the game.

Right on, Way off: Will Acta be fired before the season ends?
Will Manny Acta be fired before the end of the season, or will the Indians wait until the offseason to assess their manager and front office situation? Should Ezequiel Carrera be starting everyday in left field the rest of the season, or should others get a look in left? Should Justin Masterson remain in the starting rotation, or should he be move to the bullpen? Those are questions that Adam McGavin takes a look at both sides of the argument before sharing his thoughts on what should be done.

A vote of confidence for Manny Acta
With the Indians in the midst of an 8-game losing streak, whispers can be heard that Manny Acta could soon be gone as the Indians' skipper. Acta even addressed that issue following the Indians 3-1 defeat to Seattle Wednesday. But IPI's Steve Orbanek believes that Acta should not shoulder all the blame, and he even gives Acta his own vote of confidence.

Second Thoughts: Game #124 Mariners 3, Indians 1
The Indians offense sputtered once again on Wednesday afternoon in Oakland, and even a quality start from Zach McAllister was not enough as they fell 3-1 to the Athletics. They have now lost 19 of their last 20 road games and 21 of their last 25 overall, and Adam McGavin shares his second thoughts on the problems at hand for the Indians.

Second Thoughts: Game #123 Mariners 5, Indians 1
Through six innings last night it was an impressive battle between Felix Hernandez and Roberto Hernandez, but things unraveled quickly for the Indians in the seventh inning and they lost to the Mariners 5-1. The loss is the Indians 17th loss in their last 18 road games and their 20th loss in their last 24 games. These are not good times of late for the Indians or their fans. Jim Berdysz shares his second thoughts on the game.

Second Thoughts: Game #121 - Athletics 7, Indians 0
The Indians have failed to do much of anything recently, and Sunday's game was a microcosm of their futility. The bonus of the game was that it was over rather quickly, which about sums up how quickly the Indians went from a contender, to perhaps the worst team in baseball. Join Kevin Dean with his Second Thoughts on Sunday's ballgame...after the jump...

Tribe Happenings: Athletics are the model to follow
The Indians are not only getting a lesson on the baseball field this weekend by their opponent the Oakland Athletics, but they are also getting a lesson from them off the baseball field as well as their offseason moves have proved nothing but golden for them. Tony takes a look how their 2012 team was constructed in the offseason and if the Indians can take anything away from their methods. He also discusses the looming big decisions on the club options on Roberto Hernandez and Ubaldo Jimenez, as well as Josh Tomlin's injury.

Second Thoughts: Game #120-A's 8, Indians 5
The Indians ran into a buzz saw on Saturday Night, and his name was Bartolo Colon. The former Tribe starter dominated the Indians over eight innings, which really says it all regarding the Indians season. Corey Kluber looked like a Triple A pitcher, fronting a Triple A team that didn't realize they were in the bigs until the ninth inning. Join Andy Nichols for his "Second Thoughts" on Saturday's ballgame.

Second Thoughts: Game #119 - Athletics 6, Indians 4
The Cleveland Indians took a commanding 4-0 lead in Game 119, as he launched a grand slam in the fourth inning. It wasn't enough though, as the A's ran off six unanswered runs against the beleaguered Indians, as they dropped the Tribe 6-4. Join Kevin Dean, as he provides his Second Thoughts on Duncan, Donald, McAllister and Choo...

Second Thoughts: Game #118 - Indians 4, Angels 8
If you watched the game last night you saw one of the most embarrassing displays of defense by the Indians in the second inning that has been seen in some time. It was a comedy of errors not only physically but mentally as well, and it contributed to a five-run Angels inning that put the game early en route to an 8-4 Angels win. Adam McGavin is here to give his second thoughts on last night's debacle.

Second Thoughts: Game #117 - Indians 6, Angels 9
Ubaldo Jimenez continued his very disappointing season for the Indians this year with another poor outing last night in the Indians 9-6 loss to the Angels. The Angels put up four quick runs in the first inning to stake Zach Greinke to a 4-0 lead and it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. William Biggar shares his second thoughts on the game.
