Tribe Happenings: LaPorta's days are numbered
Tony chimes in with his weekly Sunday notebook and touches on how he believes that the Matt LaPorta Era in Cleveland is sadly (or mercifully) coming to an end this year, notes the lack of faith the fans have in the organization from top to bottom, looks at Terry Francona as a managerial candidate, gives an update on Roberto Hernandez and his future, plus lots more.

Second Thoughts: Game #152 Royals 5, Indians 3
The Indians lost their second straight game to the Royals Saturday as Kansas City earned a 5-3 win. Even worse was the performance of Tribe starter Ubaldo Jimenez, who again pitched poorly and earned his Major League leading 17th loss. IPI's Jim Berdysz offers his second thoughts after the jump.

Cleveland Sports Insiders: 9/22/2012
The Browns look to upend the Buffalo Bills in week three. Are the Browns ready to win, or...are they ready to disappoint? Is the Eastern Conference's Central Division ripe for the taking, or are the Bulls ready to run away and hide...with or without Derrick Rose? Do the Indians have anyone worth keeping in the rotation at this point, or is it time to just dump them all, and start guys off the street? Wild Thing?...you out there? Join Steve and Jim on CSI...tonight at 10:30

Second Thoughts: Game #151 Royals 6, Indians 3
Missed “royal” opportunities could be one way to describe the Indians game on Friday night as the team struggled to score runs against division rival Kansas City. With the loss, Cleveland fell to 62-89 and is now the sole owners of last place in the American League Central Division. IPI's Jim Berdysz shares his Second Thoughts on the game after the jump.

Second Thoughts: Game #150 Twins 3, Indians 4
The Indians were able to salvage the final game of their series with the Twins on Thursday afternoon winning in walkoff fashion in the 10th inning thanks to a Casey Kotchman RBI single. Corey Kluber turned in another solid starting effort, and the bullpen was dominant once again. Jason Ruggiero recaps a much needed Tribe win.

Second Thoughts: Game #149 Twins 6, Indians 4
The Indians officially moved into last place in the AL Central with their 6-4 loss to the Twins on Wednesday night, and now have the worst record in the American League. Once again the Indians did not get a good outing from their starting pitcher and the offense was completely absent for most of the game. It all added up to another Tribe loss and they are amazingly just 17-48 in their last 65 games. Adam McGavin recaps another loss...

A rainy day on the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario
With the Cleveland Indians "battling" the Minnesota Twins for the worst record in the American League Central, you have to ask yourself one question: Is this the worst Cleveland Indians team in recent memory? While there have been worse records and worse teams, a case can be made that this version of the Indians ranks near the top of really bad Indians teams...or would that be the bottom?

Second Thoughts: Game #148 - Twins 6, Indians 5
The Cleveland Indians used the most pitchers they have ever used in a single game last night, but it was not enough to defeat the Minnesota Twins as they fell 6-5 in 12 innings. The Indians had their chances, but more struggles with runners in scoring position and a boneheaded play at first base by Matt LaPorta did them in. Jim Piascik chimes in with his thoughts on the game.

A Dose of Sunshine: Part two
In his follow up to his first piece that posted two weeks ago, Adam McGavin tries to find a light in the darkness that has been the Indians final two months of the 2012 season. Everyone knows that the Indians biggest strength lies in their bullpen, and he takes a look at some of the good arms the Indians have stockpiled there as well as some good young players at other positions.

Second Thoughts: Game #147 - Indians 7, Tigers 6
The Indians avoided a series sweep at the hands of the hated Tigers thanks to some good ole Progressive Field late inning magic where they scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth and won 7-6 yesterday. Losses like that this late in the season can be crippling to teams fighting for a playoff spot, so even if was a meaningless win for the Indians it was still nice to see a little spark from them, and against a division rival to boot. Kevin Dean shares his thoughts on the game.

Tribe Happenings: Rotation needs an Extreme Makeover
The Indians season is (finally) winding down as there are only two weeks left in the season. Tony checks in with his weekly Sunday notebook and explains how the Indians need to blow up the rotation this offseason and rebuild it from scratch, and how they need to make some key decisions with the lineup. He also touches on how this is the worst season in over two decades, their race for a top five pick in next year's draft, injury updates, and more.

Second Thoughts: Game #146 Tigers 5, Indians 3
History was almost made at Progressive Field on Saturday afternoon. No, it did not involve any Indians starter or player, but rather the team’s lack of offense. Tigers starter Anibal Sanchez was dominant all game on Saturday, taking a No-hitter to the bottom of the seventh inning and defeating the Indians 5-3.

Second Thoughts: Game #145 Tigers 4, Indians 0
Fresh off of a thrilling comeback win on Thursday against the Texas Rangers, the Indians looked to keep the momentum going Friday. Only one problem. They happened to run into the Detroit Tigers and this pretty good pitcher named Justin Verlander. How'd it turn out for the Tribe? Take a look as Jim Berdysz offers his Second Thoughts.

Second Thoughts: Game #144 Indians 5, Rangers 4
They live! The Indians have looked like a team that is sleep walking through the remainder of their season, but last night in the ninth inning they showed a spark that had not really been seen since mid-July as they hit two homers and turned a 4-2 deficit into a 5-4 lead that would stand up. Jason Ruggiero shares his thoughts on the game...
