The Indians have yet to make an official announcement on who will start tonight's game against the Yankees, but right-handed pitcher Corey Kluber is en route to Cleveland and will start the game tonight if it is played. With right-hander Carlos Carrasco’s ejection last night and then tonight’s probable starter right-hander Brett Myers having to be used in long relief, it opened up a need for a starter tonight.

Carlos Carrasco made his season debut Tuesday night after sitting out 2012 recovering from Tommy John surgery. Needless to say, it was a night he’d like to forget along with the rest of Tribe Nation as Carrasco got rocked by a depleted Yankees lineup for seven runs in three and two thirds innings. It was a quiet night in the Indians' system as Lake County was rained out, and a number of the other Tribe affiliates struggled in their games. Still, a couple of players left their mark, including promising third baseman Giovanny Urshela and outfielder Delvi Cid. It's only April 9, but the Indians may already have one of their all-time low points of this season. The Cleveland Indians faced off against the Tampa Bay Rays looking at the potential of not only being swept in their second series of the year, but had yet to score a run against the dominant Rays pitching. Enter Justin Masterson, who proved to be a stopper as the Indians avoided the sweep by returning the shut-out favor to the Rays in dominating fashion, winning 13-0.
