Indians option Bauer, Kluber and Barnes to Columbus
The Cleveland Indians reduced their spring roster today by optioning RHP Trevor Bauer, RHP Corey Kluber and LHP Scott Barnes to Columbus. They also sent LHP Giovanni Soto, a non-roster invitee, to minor league camp. Jim Pete gives his thoughts on the roster moves the Indians made today, and what repercussions it could have on the Indians as they get set to break camp in a week.

Spring Training Game #26: LA Angels 6, Indians 5
The Indians Trevor Bauer took the mound on Wednesday for the Cleveland Indians in his quest to earn the fifth spot in the rotation. While Bauer hit a bit of a road block, the Indians' bullpen showcased how tough they can be. Lonnie Chisenhall and Michael Brantley also took center stage offensively, with some key hits in the Indians loss. March Madness at the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario
The Indians head through March Madness with a zany amount of sanity with regards to their roster. While there are a bunch of questions regarding the staff, it appears as though the 25-man roster is set heading forward. Jim Pete explores the questions surrounding the rotation, the real Ubaldo Jimenez, Kyle Lohse sightings, the last guys cut, and whether or not a long-term deal is in the cards for Jason Kipnis and Michael Brantley.

2013 Key Players: Jason Kipnis
Jason Kipnis finds himself on this list for one big reason: the .233/.322/.328 line he posted after the All-Star break last season. Once upon a time last season Kipnis was up for consideration as an All Star and potentially a 30-30 season, but a poor second half leaves some questions as to what can be expected of him in 2013. He is expected to be the lynch pin in the lineup from Bourn and Cabrera to Swisher and Santana, and the IBI's Michael Goodman believes it makes him the most crucial player in the lineup.

Delvi Cid is far from what most fans would label a can't-miss prospect, but the young outfielder certainly had a can't-miss moment on Saturday. Cid's walk-off RBI-triple allowed the Indians to clinch a 4-3 over the San Francisco Giants. Along with Cid, Carlos Carrasco, Jason Giambi and Asdrubal Cabrera also had impressive performances. Then & Now: David Huff
