Mansolino settling in as coach, helping young Indians hitters
For most players, the end of their playing career means the end of the line for their baseball career. But for some, they move into coaching, be it at the high school, college or even the professional level. One such person is Tony Mansolino who is in his third year of coaching with the Cleveland Indians and his first as hitting coach at Low-A Lake County. Tony recently sat down with him to talk about his transition into coaching and helping young Indians hitters.

On-Deck with the Captains: 6/19/13 - 6/25/13
Second-half turnarounds are commonly mentioned in baseball, and the case is no different for the Lake County Captains. Since the All-Star break, the team has posted a 5-1 record with some solid outings from the starting pitching staff. The offense has added a number of home runs as they hit eight this past week, so it seems things may be starting to come together for the 28-45 squad.

The night was highlighted by a Lake County catcher showing off his power in a big way. To find out who it is and all you need to know about the night in the minor leagues, join Jim Piascik and go Around The Farm.
