Cedar Rapids gets the benefit of a late inning call and defeated the Captains 6-5 in 11 innings. With runners at the corners, a sharp ground ball was hit to third base and Grant Fink threw home. Richard Stock tagged the runner before he touched the plate, but the runner was ruled safe and the Captains fell 6-5. The Kernels swept the Captains with the win and Lake County has lost three straight games on the heels of their six game winning-streak.

The Lake County Captains scored all three of their runs in the final two innings, but it wasn't quite enough to pull out a win as the Cedar Rapids Kernels came out on top, 4-3. Cedar Rapids scored two in the first and added solo-run innings in the fourth and sixth on its way to the win. Dace Kime took his 11th loss of the year after giving up three runs in 4.2 innings of work.

Claudio Bautista isn't a high-profile ballplayer. Signed as a non-drafted free agent in 2011, Bautista isn't a big name infielder -- not when guys by the names of Francisco Lindor, Joe Wendle and Jose Ramirez are around. That said, Bautista has quietly crafted a solid season with the Lake County Captains. Join Stephanie Metzger as she profiles Bautista and recaps the week for the Captains in her weekly notebook.

The organization had a few All-Stars in action Wednesday night, though none really had a stellar performance that stood out. The same could be said for Carolina third baseman Yandy Diaz, though the bigger picture is much more encouraging when it comes to the 22-year-old. Join Jim Piascik as he recaps Diaz's debut season to date, updates you on a few rehabbing players in Arizona, and much more as he takes you Around the Farm.

The Lake County Captains scored four runs between the sixth and seventh innings, but it was too little, too late as the Cedar Rapids Kernels took a 10-4 win. Lake County managed just seven hits, including a multi-hit game from Brian Ruiz. Caleb Hamrick took the loss after giving up 10 hits in just four innings of work to go with eight runs. Lake County also had five errors in the game.

In the early part of the season, Clint Frazier's performance did not truly look the part of a high first round pick. It was still early for the center fielder, however, and the lack of results was not truly a big problem. Lately, however, Frazier has turned things around and started to put up some big numbers. Join Arthur Kinney as he outlines Frazier's recent tear and recaps the rest of the action from the minor leagues, taking you Around the Farm.

Well, LeBron James is still undecided. Or maybe he isn't. Who knows? But unlike James, one star in the Cleveland organization was ready to go Thursday night. Francisco Lindor may be having a slightly down season compared to his high standards, yet the shortstop still looks ready for a promotion sooner rather than later. Join Jim Piascik as he breaks down Lindor's night, recaps the rest of the action throughout the system, and takes you Around the Farm.
