Captains fall 7-5 to Hot Rods
It's never easy to play from behind, which is exactly what the Captains did on Sunday. Though the team was able to make it interesting and nearly completed the comeback, which Mike Zavagno provides all the details on.

Lindor-less Lake County lacks offense in 9-2 loss
The Lake County Captains made the long bus ride from Comstock Park, MI. to Bowling Green, KY. after defeating the West Michigan Whitecaps 9-2 Friday night. The team knew it would be traveling without shortstop Francisco Lindor, who instead went to Kansas City to take part in the Futures Game. Unfortunately, the Captains also forgot their bats on the ride south.

Manager's Minute '12: Dave Wallace
Low-A Lake County is loaded with lots of young talent that is very raw and has lots of upside. But there are also some other players like Jerrud Sabourin, Todd Hankins, Cody Anderson, Shawn Morimando and the recently departed Grant Sides that may not have had the notoriety coming into the season that have all had good seasons to date, and Tony recently sat down with manager Dave Wallace to discuss those players in depth as well as many other things.

Casas is always prepared and ready
Although things have not come easy for Jordan Casas, nobody can say that the Indians 40th-round selection in the 2010 MLB Draft is not prepared for his opportunity. In his time with the organization, the 5’11”, 180 pound outfielder, who attended Long Beach State University, has played everywhere from Mahoning Valley to Akron and each place in between. Mike Zavagno gives an update on the speedy outfielder...

Mistakes prove costly for Captains in 5-4 loss
