Wendle's strong season has him in the Indians sights
It’s not often that a player can lead a team in batting average, home runs and runs batted in after missing a month of the season, but Carolina Mudcats second baseman Joey Wendle is doing just that. What a first full season in the minors Wendle is having and he has jumped into the mix with the other talented middle infielders in the organization. Around The Farm: August 1, 2013
So often, the difference between a prospect developing into a major leaguer or busting out in the minors is health. Some players are just unlucky with their bodies and see their careers end while others manage to stay on the field and make something happen. Bryson Myles is turning heads now that he is healthy and he continued to do so Thursday night. To read about Myles and everything else you need to know about the minor leagues, join Jim Piascik and go Around The Farm.
