Fishing for Mudcats: Lindor springing forward
The Mudcats got off to an explosive start, with the offense and pitching really playing well in the opening week of the season. With first round picks Francisco Lindor and Tyler Naquin leading the way, what do the Carolina Mudcats have to offer in 2013? Hopefully the opening week is a good indicator. Mudcats fall 4-1 to Dash
Winston Salem, N.C. -- The Carolina Mudcats were unable to follow up on their series sweep of the Winston Salem Dash from a week earlier, and fell 4-1 to the Dash on Saturday night at BB&T Ballpark. Squandered opportunities played a key role in the loss as the Mudcats stranded 10 base runners and were 2-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Around The Farm: April 12, 2013
For the first time in a while, there were no rainouts on the farm and every team was in action. The return to action was not pretty for everyone, as Daisuke Matsuzaka and the Lake County defense struggled mightily. There were some positives, though, like the late-game heroics from Chun Chen for the Aeros and more power from Bryson Myles. Join Arthur Kinney as he navigates it all and goes Around The Farm.

Around The Farm: April 10, 2013
There was plenty of rain throughout the region Wednesday night, forcing cancellations for Cleveland, Akron, and Lake County. Luckily for the Mudcats and Clippers -- and Bryson Myles, Francisco Lindor, and Tyler Naquin -- they avoided the weather and got their games in. Join Jim Piascik for a slightly shortened Around The Farm, after the jump.
