A long road of ups and downs for Nick Hagadone
The Indians have had their struggles in the bullpen this season with the likes of Rich Hill, Scott Barnes and David Huff. Another who has struggled is Nick Hagadone, but he is a pitcher they still believe in and one that is a part of their future that they are trying to get more consistent in Triple-A. The IBI's Adrienne Robbins recently talked with Hagadone about the struggles of going up and down between the big leagues and minors and what he is working on.

Salazar dominates as Clippers blow out Buffalo 8-0
The Columbus Clippers lost their no-hit bid with two outs in the ninth innings but regardless, the end result was still a masterpiece. Led by yet another spectacular outing by right-hander Danny Salazar, the Clippers trumped the Buffalo Bisons 8-0 Friday.

Romero, Bisons drub Clippers 5-1
A four-run outburst in the top of the second inning by the Buffalo lead to the Columbus Clippers' demise as the fell 5-1 to the Bisons Thursday. Southpaw Ricky Romero notched a solid outing for Buffalo, holding the Clippers to one run on five hits in six innings. He also managed to strike out seven batters en route to his third win of the season.

Salazar could provide Indians big boost in stretch run
Right-hander Danny Salazar put himself on the map after his dominant big-league debut against the Toronto Blue Jays back on July 11. The Columbus Clippers defeated the Buffalo Bisons 3-2 Wednesday night by taking advantage of an early lead made in the first inning. Columbus’ pitching staff was what shined Wednesday night though with a win, two holds, and a save to show for it.

Seventh-inning rally lifts Clippers over Bulls 3-2
Thanks to a few lucky breaks in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Columbus Clippers nudged the Durham Bulls 3-2 Friday. After a rough beginning at the Triple-A level this season, T.J. House has turned things around as of late. In his last four starts, he has accumulated a 2-1 record with a 1.50 ERA.

Clippers blow lead in ninth, fall 7-6
Columbus fell into a three-game losing streak Thursday afternoon, losing to the Buffalo Bisons 7-6. After carrying a three run lead for three innings, the Bisons rallied in the ninth inning, scoring four runs to win the game.
