A few leagues may have taken the night off, but there was still plenty of minor league action to follow. Giovanni Soto had his best outing of the winter, Ezequiel Carrera continued his solid offseason, and Eric Berger dominated in his start. Around the Farm: November 28, 2012
Indians players were back at it on Wednesday in various winter leagues. Carlos Santana had his best game so far this winter, and in a rare feat, second baseman Jose Ramirez went hitless in a winter ball game. Around the Farm: November 27, 2012
It was a busy night in the winter leagues on Tuesday as a number of Indians players were in action. First baseman Jesus Aguilar hit his third home run of the winter season and Hector Rondon continued his recent string of dominant performances. The Indians continue to get good showings from their players that are participating in the various winter ball leagues this offseason. Winter Ball Notebook: Jesus Aguilar returns
While the AFL may have closed its doors last week, a number of winter leagues remain in action, which means that a handful of Indians players are still in action. Jesus Aguilar made his return to the Venezuelan Winter League this past week plus left-handed pitcher Nick Hagadone pitched in a game for the first time since breaking his wrist during the 2012 season. It was a somewhat quiet night for Indians players playing winter ball on Tuesday, but there were a handful of players in action, including the return of left-hander Nick Hagadone, who made his debut with Aguilas Cibaenas in the DWL. Congrats to Yan Gomes and his Brazil teammates who beat Panama 1-0 on Monday night to earn a berth in the 16-team World Baseball Classic tournament that gets underway this spring. We recap Gomes' big influence on the outcome of the game plus all the other action in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic where players like Hector Rondon, Jesus Aguilar, and others were in action.

AFL Spotlight: Tyler Holt and Alex Monsalve
The Arizona Fall League wrapped up last week, and over the course of the AFL season the IPI provided profiles on six of the eight players with spotlight pieces on Shawn Armstrong, Trey Haley, T.J. House, Carlos Moncrief, Matt Packer, and Ronny Rodriguez. Not to be forgotten, we wrap up the spotlight pieces with the final two Indians prospects Tyler Holt and Alex Monsalve.

AFL Spotlight: T.J. House
The Arizona Fall League season officially comes to a close with the league championship game later today, but for all the Indians prospect playing in the AFL their season came to an end on Thursday. One of the best and brightest showings came from lefty T.J. House, and Tony recently sat down with him and talked about his 2012 season, all the changes he made, his experience in the AFL, and his roster status this offseason.

A slew of Indians prospects were in action on Friday night, including Jose Ramirez who happened to extend his hit-streak to five games. Plus while it's still early, Andrew Campbell is starting to make some noise in the Australian Baseball League. The Scottsdale Scorpions ended their AFL season Thursday, which means a number of Indians players have completed their tour of winter ball duty. In this week's Winter Ball Notebook, the IPI's Steve Orbanek looks back at some of the top performers from the Scottsdale squad, including Alex Monsalve and Tyler Holt, while also touching on some of the other Indians playing in other various winter leagues.

Several Indians were in action once again last night in fall and winter ball being played from Arizona to Venezuela. Jose Ramirez and Alex Monsalve continue to put up consistent, good showings, Rob Bryson and Gio Soto had a tough night on the mound, underdog Matt Langwell keeps doing his thing, and even the great Manny Ramirez made an appearance last night. Lots and lots of Indians were in action on Tuesday night in offseason leagues in Arizona, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic. T.J. House bid adieu to the Arizona Fall League with another good performance and overall had a very nice showing in the land of the sun. Also, Jose Ramirez continues to hit, Tim Fedroff and Carlos Moncrief continue to struggle, and lots more.

AFL Spotlight: Trey Haley
If you want a name to keep an eye on in the Indians farm system that maybe does not get talked about a lot but has the potential to impact the big league team in the near future, then right-hander Trey Haley is one you should definitely watch closely. The hard throwing righty has made big strides since moving to the bullpen, and Tony recently caught up with him and talked about his 2012 season and experience in the Arizona Fall League.

The Arizona Fall League began its final week of action this week and a quartet of Indians prospects were in action on Monday out in Arizona. Tony recaps the performances by those players as well as everyone else that was in action in all the winter ball leagues in Latin America.
