With their 9th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians selected RHP Jacob Lee, righthanded pitcher from Arkansas State University.

With their 8th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians selected right-handed pitcher Caleb Hamrick out of Cedar Hill High School (TX).

With their 7th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians selected outfielder Josh McAdams out of Calhoun High School (GA).

With their 6th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians selected second baseman Joseph Wendle out of West Chester University (PA).

With their 5th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians selected right-handed pitcher Dylan Baker out of Western Nevada Community College (NV).

With their 4th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians select outfielder D’vone McClure out of Jacksonville Senior High School (AR).

With their 3rd round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians select right-handed pitcher Kieran Lovegrove out of Mission Viejo High School (CA).

Day 2 of the 2012 MLB Draft kicks up at noon today. Day one of the draft is over, and Tony has all kinds of information on first round pick Tyler Naquin. The Indians selected Texas A&M outfielder Tyler Naquin in the 1st round, 15th overall, of the 2012 MLB Draft. The pick came as somewhat of a surprise as the Indians were supposedly on a college arm and Naquin was not a Top 20 ranked guy by just about every draft source. The draft commences at 7pm tonight with the Indians picking 15th overall, and throughout the day and up until the pick this blog post will be updated several times with information and commentary on the events of the day.

As we get set to cover the draft inside and out here at the IPI, Jeff Ellis took some time to put together his "Big Board" and ranked out the best 35 players heading into the draft.
