Many Tribe fans got their first look at Arizona Fall League action Saturday night as the MLB Network televised the Scottsdale Scorpions game. Jose Ramirez has been one of the most exciting players in all of winter ball this season, and that trend continued on Friday as he pushed his hit streak to eight games. In his second game as an official member of the Cleveland Indians organization on Wednesday night, the newly acquired Yan Gomes had a big night in the Dominican Republic going long with three RBI. While Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the East Coast on Monday (we at IPI hope everyone is safe and sound!), things went on as usual in the Arizona Fall League and Dominican Winter League. Tyler Holt continued his solid play of late, and a former Indians prospect that was part of a big trade some time ago was also in action.
With the Arizona Fall League taking their normal Sunday off, it was slim pickings for Cleveland Indians' prospects. Eric Berger was still able to throw out his best start of the winter league season, and Hector Rondon continued to rebound after a tough start.
