Lindor's 2 HR not enough as Clippers fall to Tides, 6-5
Francisco Lindor shined in the Clippers 6-5 loss to the Norfolk Tides. The short stop went yard not just once, but twice. The switch hitter is currently batting .333 in his first five games in triple-A. Top of the second and T.J. House immediately put a runner on after hitting him with his second pitch. The struggle continued for House as he let up a grounder out to right field for a single.

Columbus Clippers fall short against Louisville Bats, 6-5
With both starting pitchers giving up four runs, the Columbus Clippers and Louisville Bats played to a 6-5 Louisville victory behind 23 total hits. Columbus came up short with 11 hits, including a pair of base knocks from each of its top three batters in the order and another two hits from the Clippers' seventh hitter. Vinnie Pestano took the loss after giving up a run in 0.1 innings.

Columbus Clippers beat Louisville Bats 1-0 in pitchers' duel
The Columbus Clippers scored in the top of the first before going eight innings without another run. Luckily for them, the Clippers were able to hold the Louisville Bats scoreless throughout the game. Columbus' run came off an RBI from Jesus Aguilar while Gabriel Arias picked up the win after tossing 7.2 innings of shutout ball. Mark Lowe picked up his 15th save of the season.

Indians cruise past Clippers in standings after 15-5 win
Top of the first and the Indianapolis Indians went to town. A single homer blasted into left field got the Indians on the board and they were not through. A three-run homer followed by a two run big fly put the Indians atop the Clippers 6-0 going into the bottom of the first.

Clippers sweep doubleheader against Indians
The Clippers walked away with two wins after Saturday's doubleheader with the Indianapolis Indians. After taking the first game 4-3, Jordan Cooper made his triple-A debut and led Columbus to a 2-1 win in game two. Cooper went 4.2 innings allowing just one hit and three walks. The righty also fanned three in his outing. Cooper held a 4.37 ERA while in double-A Akron and sported a 6-1 record.

Columbus Clippers shut down by Pawtucket Red Sox, lose 3-1
The Columbus Clippers attempted a furious rally in the bottom of the ninth, but could only get one run on the board on their way to a 3-1 loss agains the Pawtucket Red Sox. Jesus Aguilar hit an RBI double, but it was not quite enough as the comeback faltered. Toru Murata took the loss after a quality start, but Steven Wright stole the show for Pawtucket with eight two-hit, no-run innings.

Columbus Clippers can't find scoring touch in 4-1 loss to Pawtucket
After giving up 11 hits and four one-run innings, the Columbus Clippers lost, 4-1, to the Pawtucket Red Sox Monday. The Clippers totaled eight hits behind a 2 of 4 outing from Elliot Johnson and six one-hit nights, but only managed one run on the night. Kyle Davies took the loss, but Tyler Sturdevant still managed to pitch a scoreless ninth while fanning two.

Clippers beat Mudhens in thriller, 6-5
Danny Salazar took the mound for the Clippers Saturday night, after a career-high 105 pitches during his last outing. The righty was shaky however, pitching six innings and allowing four runs on five hits. Salazar did fan his fair share of Toledo Mudhens with nine strikeouts on the night.

Columbus Clippers trampled by Toledo Mud Hens, 7-2
Kyle Davies took the bump for Columbus Wednesday night against the Toledo Mud Hens. The Mud Hens got the best of the starter collecting four runs on four hits. Davies lasted four innings and was saddled with his fourth loss after the Clippers' 7-2 trampling.

Columbus Clippers pounce on Louisville for 10-1 win
For the first time since returning to AAA May 16, Danny Salazar looked better than new. Salazar went seven innings, giving up one run on five hits and fanning nine. Columbus has won three in a row now after its 10-1 dominating victory against the Louisville Bats Monday night.

Clyde dominates as Clippers cruise over Mud Hens
Tyler Cloyd collected his third win in a row Saturday night while taking the mound against the Toledo Mudhens. Clippers took the victory 6-1 on the Mudhens’ home turf, extending their record to 43-39.

Clippers drop two to Buffalo, including 13-inning heartbreaker
The Columbus Clippers dropped two games in a doubleheader with Buffalo Wednesday, with the first loss coming in 13 innings. The game totaled 21 hits between the two teams, but Buffalo finished with the win after Columbus came back with three runs between the eighth and ninth innings to tie the game and force extras. The Clippers lost the nightcap, 3-2.

Columbus Clippers rally to beat Lehigh Valley with 5-run 8th
The Columbus Clippers rallied from a 4-2 deficit to beat the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-4, Monday night. Columbus came up with five runs in the top of the eighth to scrape out the victory. The Clippers' offense was powered by Audy Ciriaco, who had a home run with four RBIs on three hits in the game. Nick Hagadone got the win for the Clippers while C.C. Lee picked up the save.

McAlister, Columbus dismantle Lehigh, 14-2
The Clippers fought back after a loss Friday night with a 14-2 victory against the Lehigh Iron Pigs. With Zach McAllister on the mound Columbus kept the Pigs to eight hits in seven innings. McAllister joined the triple-A Clippers when veteran Vinnie Pestano rejoined the Tribe.

Columbus Clippers tally eight runs to hold off Buffalo Bisons
The Columbus Clippers used a five-run fourth inning to stave off the Buffalo Bisons, 8-4, Monday at home. Clippers starter Tyler Cloyd allowed 10 hits, but walked none and gave up only four runs off of those hits to earn his fourth win of the season. Four different Columbus batters tallied two hits while Elliot Johnson had two RBIs to power the team to victory.

Clippers extend streak, shutout RailRaiders, 7-0
The Columbus Clippers won their tenth straight game against the Scranton RailRiders Saturday night with a shutout victory. The Clippers 7-0 win came with the help of Zach McAllister who made his second rehab start in Columbus.

Columbus Clippers fall short against Charlotte Knights, 4-2
The Columbus Clippers fell behind, 2-0, early on and never made it all the way back on their way to a 4-2 loss against the Charlotte Knights. Columbus was held to just three hits, while the Knights piled on nine against the Clippers' pitching staff. Columbus starter Tyler Cloyd pitched 5.1 innings and gave up five hits and three runs while striking out five Charlotte batters.

Columbus Clippers beat Gwinnett 9-4 in von Schamann debut
While the Gwinnett Braves managed eight hits and four runs, the output was no where near enough to push the visiting Columbus Clippers Wednesday. Columbus finished the shellacking with 13 hits and nine runs scored behind three-hit games from Justin Sellers and Jose Ramirez, and a three-RBI performance from Adam Abraham. Due von Schamann pitched five innings and gave up four runs in the win.

Tremie ejected as Columbus Clippers lose to Louisville, 4-1
Columbus Clippers' manager Chris Tremie was tossed from the game in the fifth inning during his team's loss to the Louisville Bats. Tremie's players managed to score just one run off of their six hits in the game, while his pitching staff gave up eight hits. Columbus is five games below .500 as the June schedule gets under way.

Columbus Clippers score 19 runs in first, walk off in second game
The Columbus Clippers scored 19 runs in game one of a double header with the Lousiville Batts Saturday before battling through a tight game in the evening. Game two ended as the Clippers walked off in the bottom of the ninth after they scored nine runs in the eighth inning of game one. In total, Columbus outscored Louisville 21-4 for the day.
