Bats pitcher Greg Reynolds, on the other hand, pitched a near-complete game going 8.1 innings, allowing one earned run on nine hits.

The Columbus Clippers made big plays at the plate Wednesday night to tie the series against the Syracuse Chiefs with a 10-7 victory. The series is now tied 1-1. The Clippers and the Chiefs combined for 26 hits on the night while scoring runs in five of the nine innings played. Despite three errors committed by the Clippers, they sealed the win with four scoreless innings by the Chiefs.

The Clippers grinded out a win against the Pawtucket Red Sox 6-5 Tuesday after 15 innings of play. The win splits the series between to the two clubs 2-2.
