Aeros sweep Fisher Cats with 7-2 win
On a cloudy, dreary night in Akron, and after a thirty-minute rain delay, the Aeros took on the Fisher Cats, getting the brooms out to sweep New Hampshire out of town with a 7-2 win. Aeros starter Toru Murata got into trouble right away when Fisher Cats second baseman Ryan Schimpf lined a single to right field with one out in the inning. Shortstop Kevin Nolan took no time at all to put the Fisher Cats on the board, drilling the second Murata offering he saw deep into the Aeros bullpen in right field. Down 2-0, Murata settled in after that.

Aeros lose 12th inning heartbreaker, 4-3
AKRON- The Akron Aeros wasted a two-run ninth to drop a heartbreaker to the Bowie Bayson in 12 innings, 4-3. The Aeros seemed to be on the track to yet another bad loss at home after an awful 7th inning, and a four game losing streak was all but reality. That was, until the bottom of the ninth inning began. The Aeros got started quickly, however, for the second straight game.

He allowed only one run, two walks, and six hits on the evening, and had Chiefs hitters guessing all night long.

Aeros hold off late comeback from Altoona, win 5-4
Despite a late comeback bid from Altoona, the Akron Aeros were able to secure their 12th win of the season 5-4. A Chen two-run home run gave the Aeros a 5-2 lead in the seventh, and thanks to Stowell, that was a lead they would not relinquish. The Aeros move to 12-14 on the season, while the Curve fell to 11-15 after the Wednesday night loss.

Carrasco Goes Down as Clippers Grab 4-1 Victory
On a night with a somber tune, the Clippers secured their second win of the series in Scranton, beating the RailRiders 4-1. The big news from the night ended up being bad news for not only the Clippers, but the Indians organization as a whole. In the bottom of the fifth Carlos Carrasco took a line drive up the middle off of his arm and left the game immediately. Carrasco was, apparently, in a great deal of pain as he made his way to the hospital. As the injury is yet to be confirmed, the fear is that Carrasco could be out for quite a while with a somewhat serious arm issue.
