The future of first base
Who’s on first? The 2012 MLB season is just 23 games old, and it seems as if Indians fans would love to answer that question with anyone other than Casey Kotchman. While Kotchman looks like he is locked into the position at least for another few weeks, Steve Orbanek says it is time to look at possible short term and long term options from within the organization.

Don't give up on Jimenez yet
Another start. Another underwhelming performance. And thus another sad chapter in the story of Ubaldo Jimenez as a Cleveland Indian. Last night Jimenez faced the Kansas City Royals in his fourth start of the 2012 campaign and once again there was not much to like. But Steve Orbanek thinks it is still too soon to give up on Jimenez and that he may still come around.

The curious case of Chun Chen
Steve Orbanek makes his IPI debut with a look into Double-A Akron catcher turned first baseman Chun Chen. After a breakthrough 2010 campaign a lot of people were excited about his potential with the bat at a premium position, but with his recent change to first base, Steve wonders what kind of Major League future Chen has.
