Clippers Walk Their Way To Victory Over Mud Hens 7-4
Huntington Park is known around the International League as a field that favors hitters. On Tuesday night against the Toledo Mud Hens, though, the Clippers needed only to walk to get a win. Columbus (55-49) began its nine-game homestand with a 7-4 victory against Toledo on Tuesday at Huntington Park.

Sailing with the Clippers: 7/16/2012 - 7/22/2012
The Clippers have back-to-back National Championships to defend, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the Clip-Show is saving their best for the second half. The Clippers won six of the seven games they played in the week, and closed things out with a four-game win streak. Can the Clippers defend their title? Only time will tell, but if the past week is any indication, they could be well on their way. Join Andrew Holleran as he goes Sailing with the Clippers...

Clippers Outslug Bats 13-12
Behind one of their best offensive performances of the season Thursday, the Clippers won the final game of their series against Louisville 13-12, but even with the strong output at the plate, the victory did not come easily.

Goedert, Clippers walkoff to a 5-4 win
Huntington Park was nearly empty, but the noise made in the stands after Jared Goedert drove in the winning run in the 10th inning Tuesday night was as loud as any heard at a Clippers’ home game this season. Columbus rallied from a 4-0 deficit to defeat Louisville, 5-4, on a walk-off RBI single up the middle by Goedert, climbing above the .500 mark and winning its second-straight game against the Bats.

Seddon almost perfect in Clippers win
Chris Seddon came within nine outs of recording the second perfect game in team history Monday night, and behind the valiant effort by the Columbus left hander, the Clippers opened up their home stand with a win against the Louisville Bats. While Seddon wasn't perfect, he was certainly good enough to pace Columbus to victory, as the Clippers (48-48) beat Louisville, 8-2.

Gomez dazzles as Clippers earn 2-0 win
Jeanmar Gomez goes distance against the first-place Indians, pitching a complete-game shutout. Led by Gomez’s start, perhaps the best by any Clippers’ starter this season, Columbus beat Indianapolis, 2-0.

Rottino, Fedroff Lead Clippers Past Indians 10-6
For most of the season, the Indianapolis Indians have been the class of the IL West and the league as a whole. One game doesn’t change much of that, besides a mark in the standings, but the Clippers proved in game one of their series against the Indians Friday night that they can play with the league’s best, winning 10-6.

Clippers struggle in key at bats, lose 4-2
Poor execution at the plate and some timely hitting by the Toledo Mud Hens doomed the Columbus Clippers Tuesday night. Columbus lost to the Mud Hens, 4-2, at Fifth Third Field in Toledo. The Clippers had won game one of the series, 4-1, on Monday night.

Clippers pound out 9-4 win over Tides
Like the game itself, the Clippers’ bats took a little while to get started Friday night, but when they did, it resulted in another Columbus victory. The Clippers won for the sixth time in seven tries, defeating the Norfolk Tides, 9-4. Heavy rain and strong winds delayed the game’s start time of 7:05 p.m. by an hour. With the win, Columbus took the four-game series, 3-1, in front of 7,227 fans at Huntington Park.

Clippers beat the heat and Tides, win 6-3
Battling record-high temperatures and the Norfolk Tides, the Clippers found a way to win for the fifth time in six games Thursday night. Playing in front of 7,488 fans at Huntington Park, and amidst 100-degree temperatures—the hottest day in Columbus in more than a decade—the Clippers beat the Tides, 6-3.
