Low-A Lake County catcher Alex Lavisky has not performed up to expectations so far in his second full season as a professional, but he has the aptitude, the tools, and the drive to get better. There are few players in the system with more class and with as great a makeup as him, and he continues to work hard every day to get things right in the hope things eventually click and come together.
EASTLAKE, OH- The Lake County Captains withstood a late inning rally by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and walked off in the 15th inning Friday night with a 7-6 win. The game was a long one as it lasted a total of 4:22.
