Masterson, Raburn help Indians sweep Sox out of town
Justin Masterson continued his season-long dominance of Chicago and Ryan Raburn hit two home runs as the Cleveland Indians beat the White Sox, 6-1, to earn a four-game sweep. Indians win fourth straight following three-game sweep of Texas
Ubaldo Jimenez pitched eight shutout innings, leading the Cleveland Indians to a 6-0 victory and a three-game sweep over the Texas Rangers, marking the first such sweep for the Tribe over Texas since 1980. After twice contemplating a sacrifice bunt, Ryan Raburn hit a walk-off, three-run home run in the 11th inning off Jason Frasor, giving the Cleveland Indians a 11-8 win over the Texas Rangers on Friday night. Chisenhall slams the Indians to a 5-3 win over the Royals
Lonnie Chisenhall hit his first career grand slam and Scott Kazmir pitched six and one-third innings of two run baseball as the Cleveland Indians beat the Kansas City Royals 5-3 Saturday night at Progressive Field. The Indians have now won for the fifth time in seven games. Cleveland is 50-44 and trails Detroit by 1.5 games in the American League Central going into the final game before the All-Star break.

Corey Kluber pitched scoreless baseball into the eighth inning and Michael Bourn had a two-run, pinch hit double as the Cleveland Indians beat the Kansas City Royals 3-0 in the opening game of the final series before the All-Star break. After the Cleveland offense mounted a five-run comeback against Washington ace Jordan Zimmermann, the Tribe bullpen allowed lead-changing solo homers in the eighth and ninth as the Nationals beat the Indians 7-6. The Indians were unable to get lockdown performances from their bullpen mates, and on Sunday they will focus on starting a new streak.

Jason Kipnis hit a run-scoring fielder's choice in the bottom of the ninth that plated Drew Stubbs from third as the Cleveland Indians beat the Washington Nationals in the opener of a three-game series, 2-1. With the win, the Indians have now won three games in a row after losing eight in a row, and Tribe pitching has allowed two runs or fewer in all three games.
