On the same night that Bruce Wayne rose as the Dark Knight, the Indians had plenty of players rising in their system. Members of the Sabour-tooth fan club were given reason to cheer, as were those who root for Jared Goedert. The top spot from Thursday night belongs to the ultimate rising story, a pitcher returning from injury to dominate again. As always, click on the link to join Jim Piascik as he takes you Around The Farm.

Sure, the Akron Aeros won four of their five games this week, but the biggest story from the past week was starting pitcher Giovanni Soto throwing the first-ever no-hitter at Canal Park Sunday. Jim Piascik breaks down what Soto's no-hitter means going forward along with what went on with the other Akron Aeros. As always, Launching Off With The Aeros has everything you need to know about the past week for the Aeros, including quotes from the man himself, Giovanni Soto.

Recent callup Tyler Holt may not overwhelm you with power numbers and moonshots, but he is one of the harder workers in the organization. Holt gets on base, plays good defense, and generally is a dirtbag-type player (like one Jason Kipnis) that fans love to get behind. Holt may or may not reach that level, but one thing is for certain: he won't stop trying and caring. Jim Piascik talked with Holt before his home debut in Akron to talk about his approach, controlling his emotions, and adjusting to a new locker room.

It wasn't a great night for the Indians minor league affiliates, as every single team experienced a loss on Thursday. Despite the carnage in the standings, there were plenty of great performances up and down the system last night. There was Jordan Smith showing off some power and T.J. House bouncing back in Akron. But the top spot goes to someone who hasn't been seen by many, but will become a household name before too much longer. Find out who he is (and start learning his name) inside.

As we hit the All-Star break, the 44-41 Indians have used 35 different players on their active roster. Obviously, some were better than others, but who was the best? Who was the worst? How high does Lou Marson's hot streak have him? How much has Ubaldo Jimenez improved his stock? As always, Jim Piascik gives his opinion as he sifts through all 35 players and ranks them from worst to first.

It was a rare bad week for your Akron Aeros, as they dropped five of their seven games. There's no need to despair, however. The Aeros still have the best record in the Eastern League and plenty of great players. As always, it's time to Launch Off With The Aeros with Jim Piascik and the best of the best from Akron over the past week.

Akron Aeros reliever Bryce Stowell has been tearing up the Eastern League and should have a chance at sniffing the big leagues either as a September callup or in 2013. Stowell recently spoke with Jim Piascik about his adjustments before the season started, whether or not he actively tries to strike batters out, how he's recovering from an injury scare earlier in the year, and how he sees his path to the Majors unfolding. As always, click to learn more about the future of your Cleveland Indians.

Canzler can hit the ball a ton, and continued that with his tenth homer on Friday Night. Thomas Neal is beginning to officially dominated Double A pitching. Kyle Bellows is finding his bat, and Jeanmar Gomez had a spectacular return to Columbus. The top of the heap for tonight's ATF is a prospect in Carolina who has exploded since an April swoon. Join Jim Piascik to find out who that is...after the jump...

With a 42-25 record on the year, the Aeros aren't used to losing very often, yet they did just that over the past week, dropping 5 of 8 games on the road. As always, let Jim Piascik take you through the highs and lows of the Aeros from the past week and find out who is doing well (hint: it's Nick Weglarz) and who needs to get things together.

After the Akron Aeros win a game at home, they typically play the song "All I Do Is Win." Of late, that really is all the Aeros are doing. The Aeros won all six of their games over the past week, moving to 39-20 on the season and continuing their dominance of the Eastern League. As always, Jim Piascik breaks down the good and bad from the week and, as an added bonus, this edition of "Launching Off With The Aeros" is chock full of quotes from manager Chris Tremie and players Steven Wright and Roberto Perez.

Some people say new is always better, but that's not true. While it's exciting to see what players the Indians are adding to their system in the Draft this week, it's still important to pay attention to the players already in the system. There's no better place to start doing that than with the Akron Aeros, who once again dominated the Eastern League by winning 4 of 5. This team just keeps on winning and if you click on the link, you can see who led them to victory this week.

Before the Akron Aeros' thrilling 14 inning victory Thursday night, Jim Piascik talked with their surprising starter Steven Wright about his success this year. Wright touched on the legendary knuckleballers - Charlie Hough and Tom Candiotti - who have helped him develop the pitch and what mindset he has going forward in his career.

The Akron Aeros spent all of the past week away from home and it certainly didn't help them win any games. After losing 5 of their 7 games, Jim Piascik helps break down the week that wasn't for your 1st place Aeros. There were still some good things (and some long overdue/head scratching promotions), so come on into "Launching Off With The Aeros" to read all about the past week.

Updating his rankings from the preseason, Jim Piascik takes another crack at sorting out the Indians' roster from top to bottom now that we've passed the 40-game mark. It's easy to know that Jason Donald has been worse than Asdrubal Cabrera, but what about Donald and Dan Wheeler? Or Cabrera and Carlos Santana? Read on to find out where each player that has donned an Indians uniform this year ranks.

Though he has had a rough go of it over the past year or so, Thomas Neal is still working hard and grinding down in Double-A Akron. Jim Piascik caught up with T Daddy Neal - as he is affectionately known - over the weekend and he explained how he's making the most of his opportunity and what he is working on this year.

The Akron Aeros fought valiantly Saturday night, but ultimately fell to the Harrisburg Senators 6-5 in a high scoring affair. The two teams combined for 23 hits as the pitching on both sides failed to bring their A-games.
