The Indians bullpen is at a crossroads this offseason. No longer can they rely on Chris Perez, Vinnie Pestano and Joe Smith at the backend of the bullpen like they have the last three years since Perez is gone, Smith is likely gone and Pestano has health concerns. The Indians will likely rely more heavily on Bryan Shaw and Cody Allen, but they are expected to be creative in finding more help for the backend of the bullpen. The IBI's Andy Nichols takes a look at some potential trade targets to fill that need.

Entering 2013, the Indians had as stable a backend of the bullpen with Joe Smith, Vinnie Pestano and Chris Perez. The Indians ran into a buzz saw on Saturday Night, and his name was Bartolo Colon. The former Tribe starter dominated the Indians over eight innings, which really says it all regarding the Indians season. Corey Kluber looked like a Triple A pitcher, fronting a Triple A team that didn't realize they were in the bigs until the ninth inning. The Twins completed a sweep of the Indians on Sunday and outscored the Indians in the series 28-6. With the trade deadline looming, the Indians have way more questions than answers at this point.
