The Indians dumped Derek Lowe and Johnny Damon into the trash heap, and dealt Steven Wright to the Boston Red Sox, where he'll be learning from the knuckleball of Wakefield. Kluber, Rottino, Carrera and Seddon also made the move to the bigs, while Travis Hafner headed home for the birth of a child. Oh yeah, Aaron Cunningham was DFA'ed, and kept around. Oh joy...

Arthur Kinney returns with this week's Transaction Rundown...

What a zany week for player activity for the Indians. They acquired a giant, added a 26th man to their roster, used a little-used doubleheader rule, had leave for the birth of a baby, and several other moves throughout the system. This week's edition of Transaction Rundown comes on Cinco de Mayo, as Arthur celebrates the first Cleveland Indians' transaction figured in his weekly piece. Welcome to the club, Johnny Damon! At the same time Lonnie Chisenhall has some bad news this week at Columbus, as does Giovanny Urshela. It's not a good week to be a third baseman, unless you are Super Jack Hannahan.

It was a crazy week with player movement within the Indians system as many players were sent all over the place to cover for injuries and promotions in the upper levels. The big move of the week was Nick Hagadone coming back to Cleveland last night with Rafael Perez's trip to the 15-day DL. Arthur recaps them all!
