The Indians may have been rained out on Tuesday, but all of the team's minor league affiliates were still in action. Akron's Paolo Espino flirted with a no-hitter while Carolina's Tyler Naquin continues to show why the Indians decided to select him in the first round of the 2012 draft. Join the IBI's Arthur Kinney as he recaps all of the night's action as he takes you Around the Farm.

Thursday was a busy day Around The Farm, headlined by some offensive fireworks in Akron. The Aeros' offense was clicking on all cylinders, with players like Chris Wallace and Carlos Moncrief knocking the ball around the park. No one was bigger than Chun Chen, however, who finally answered the question everyone has been asking: where is the power? Join Arthur Kinney as he recaps the night in the minor leagues and checks in on the other affiliates, after the jump...
For the first time in a while, there were no rainouts on the farm and every team was in action. The return to action was not pretty for everyone, as Daisuke Matsuzaka and the Lake County defense struggled mightily. There were some positives, though, like the late-game heroics from Chun Chen for the Aeros and more power from Bryson Myles. Join Arthur Kinney as he navigates it all and goes Around The Farm.
It was a quiet night in the Indians' system as Lake County was rained out, and a number of the other Tribe affiliates struggled in their games. Still, a couple of players left their mark, including promising third baseman Giovanny Urshela and outfielder Delvi Cid. Join the IBI's Arthur Kinney as he recaps their performances and more as he takes you Around the Farm.

Friday's outing by Ubaldo Jimenez was nothing if not unusual. If not for three solo homers that he allowed, he pitched well. The lineup was loaded with minor leaguers filling in so regulars could be well rested and not risk injury before the start of the season. Saturday is the final day of spring training before the Indians break camp and get this party started for real!
Only two days remain before another minor league spring training breaks on Saturday afternoon. Juan Diaz, Anthony Gallas, Carlos Moncrief, Leo Castillo and several others had good days at the plate for the Indians' affiliates, and Fernando Nieve, Danny Salazar, Jake Sisco and others impressed on the mound. The full stats from all four minor league games on Thursday are included....
The Cleveland Indians' farm teams took on the affiliates of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday in the eighth of 11 scheduled inter-organization preseason exhibition games. Trevor Bauer started for Columbus, T.J. House for Akron, Jacob Lee for Carolina and Luis DeJesus for Lake County, and Arthur has the details on how all of them did as well as several standout performances in the lineup.
Roberto Perez was the star of the show in the AAA/AA game, belting a pair of home runs, while driving in three. The great Delvi Cid also managed a perfect three-hit performance. In the single A game, Dillon Howard pitched three pretty solid innings, and hopefully gained a bit of momentum heading into the 2013 season. With many pondering the term bust already, Howard needs to show some continuity this year to regain traction in the system. Join Arthur Kinney with Sunday's minor league wrap.
Ubaldo Jimenez took the hill on Sunday afternoon for the Cleveland Indians in one of his last outings before the Indians break for camp at the end of the week. Jimenez was nothing short of spectacular in the outing, and while it's hard to look too much into a spring training start, it was good to see Jimenez do something good for a change. Join IBI's Arthur Kinney with the latest Indians' spring training recap.
Saturday saw some good and not so good performances by Indians players at the plate and on the mound. It also made for an unpleasant day with the news earlier in the day that nine players had been released from the organization. In today's recap we look into how LeVon Washington did in his spring game debut, the awesome performance from Danny Salazar, the forgettable showing by Jesus Aguilar, and much, much more....
It was a rough night for the Big Club at Goodyear ballpark as a pair of defensive miscues spelled doom for an otherwise solid ballgame which included good nights from starter Justin Masterson as well as several other Wahoos. Join the IBI's sleep-deprived Arthur Kinney as he tries to stay awake and recap this fielding error fiesta. Cue the circus music...
Right-hander Justin Masterson struggled in the first inning before settling down while Matt Carson, Cord Phelps and Chris McGuiness all recorded two hits each for the Indians on Sunday. Plus, Carlos Moncrief hit a key home run in the ninth inning to lift the Indians and clinch a 7-7 tie. Join the IBI's Arthur Kinney as he looks back on all of Sunday's performances and offers some key takeaways from the contest.
