The Cleveland Indians beat the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night by a score of 6-2. The Indians received most of their offense in a four-run second inning thanks to five consecutive batters getting a hit or walk with just one out. While the Indians offense pulled together a great inning to account for a decent night, Trevor Bauer’s most-recent call-up was the real story. The IBI's Charlie Adams provides his second thoughts on the big win for the Indians...

The Cleveland Indians lost to the Toronto Blue Jays last night by a score of 5-4. Justin Masterson couldn’t figure out a couple batters and exited having given up 5 runs. The Indians fell behind 5-1 and in the midst of scratching back to a one-run deficit, they lost many chances to complete the comeback, but didn’t get it done. The IBI's Charlie Adams reviews the game and goes into great detail about the baserunning error that Carlos Santana made on the game's most critical play.

The Indians recent run of brilliance on the mound continued Tuesday night, though this time it came from a new source with the return of Josh Tomlin to the mound in Cleveland for the first time in almost two years. He was excellent in his first start back and hopefully it is a sign that he can help stabilize the backend of the rotation. The IBI's Charlie Adams provides some Second Thoughts on Tomlin's outing.

All of that leads to a five-game losing streak and poor 11-16 start so far this season. The IBI's Charlie Adams reviews last night's 6-4 loss to the Angels and analyzes key moments in the game where had the Indians gotten just one clutch hit or key pitch they actually may have won the game.

Ryan Raburn has proven to pretty much be definition of "league average" over his seven year career. Over his career he has proven to be a versatile player that can handle many positions and provide some pop to the lineup, but he has been inconsistent at the plate the last two years and is now attempting a Major League comeback as a utility bat option off the bench for the Indians. The IBI's Charlie Adams chimes in with some analysis on where Raburn has gone wrong, and why just a few more fly balls off his bat could be all the difference to make him a solid option off the bench.

The Indians rollercoaster ride of a season and inconsistent play showed up again last night as the offense was held to three runs on five hits, Derek Lowe was ineffective, and Asdrubal Cabrera made two crucial errors on the night In the end it all added up to a 5-3 loss to the Tigers, which means they have to beat Verlander today to salvage a series victory.
