The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Joe Martinez and called him up from Triple-A Columbus to Cleveland. To make room on the 25-man roster, right-handed pitcher Matt Langwell was optioned to Columbus.

Also, right-handed pitcher has been recalled as the 26th player for the doubleheader and will be sent to Columbus after tonight.
