The IBI Tribe Madness tournament pitting the 128 greatest Indians players of all time against one another in an NCAA basketball-like tournament continues with the results from the matchups in the semi-final round of the Stadium Region. With two matchups involving four players, two will move into the Region Finals and two will go home. The region features Charlie Hickman up against Luis Tiant in one matchup and Mel Harder against Terry Turner in the other.

The Indians today announced that they tendered contracts to outfielder Michael Brantley, right-handed starting pitcher Justin Masterson, right-handed reliever Vinnie Pestano, left-handed reliever Marc Rzepczynski, outfielder Drew Stubbs and right-handed starting pitcher Josh Tomlin. They did not tender a contract to catcher Lou Marson.

The Indians made it official on Monday as they added free agent outfielder David Murphy to the roster. To make room on the roster they DFAed right-handed Tyler Cloyd. They also received word that infielder Cord Phelps was lost on waivers.
The Indians have lost two of their better minor league free agents to free agency as right-handed pitcher Jose Flores has signed a minor league deal with the Athletics and right-handed pitcher Paolo Espino has signed a minor league deal with the Cubs.
