The Cleveland Indians today announced they have recalled right-handed reliever Blake Wood from his 30-day rehab assignment with the Triple-A Columbus Clippers, activated him from the 60-day Disabled List and optioned him to Columbus. To make room on the 40-man roster the Indians outrighted catcher Omir Santos to Columbus.
The Cleveland Indians have signed 11th round draft pick right-handed pitcher Adam Plutko. With his signing they have now signed 25 of their 39 draft picks. The deadline is just two days away and Tony talks about who the Indians may still have their sights on and provides an update on the status of the unsigned picks.

The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have selected the contract of right-handed reliever Preston Guilmet from Triple-A Columbus and have optioned right-handed pitcher Carlos Carrasco to Columbus.

The Indians have signed all of the bonus pool picks that there are going to sign and are $332,100 under budget which means they have some money they can use for post-10th round picks and not be at risk of being severely taxed or lose a first round pick.
